The eldest child of King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie of Greece, Princess Alexia’s wedding was attended by a large royal contingent. The couple have four children and live in Spain. Take a look at scenes from their wedding below-

On June 7th, there was a grand pre-wedding gala at Bridgewater House in London. Guests included the brides Danish, Spanish, and Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg royal cousins, as well as the Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, British, Serbian, Bulgarian royal families.

The Wedding Ceremony was held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Sophia in London on July 9th. The wedding breakfast and reception afterwards was held at a country house.

The Greek Royal Family has links to all the European Royal Houses, and guests travelled to London to take part in this event. Three Kings and eight Queens were in attendance, including Queen Elizabeth II, who rarely attends foreign royal events.

Princess Alexia wore a Inge Sprawson gown with Margaret of Connaught’s lace veil and the Khedive of Egypt Tiara. Carlos Morales Quintana wore Morning Dress.
