King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia last made a State Visit to Finland in 2015, while the last Finnish State Visit was in 2012.
Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa of Luxembourg are on a 2-Day State Visit to Portugal at the request of the Luxembourg Government and invitation of the Portuguese President to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties on May 11 and 12. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and King Felipe VI of Spain are both descended through Queen Victoria from their respective grandmother, Crown Princess Margareta of Sweden, and great-grandmother, Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain.
