Royal Guests at the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla

Royalty and Heads of State from around the world have gathered to join the British Royal Family for the spectacular Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6th, which is the first British Coronation in 70 years. The Ceremony follows the King’s Accession Council in September as well as a Reception for Royalty and Heads of State at Buckingham Palace.
On the eve of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the British Royal Family hosted a Reception at Buckingham Palace for Foreign Royalty and Heads of State who are in London to attend the Coronation. Earlier, the Royal Family hosted a Reception for Realm Governors General and Commonwealth Prime Minsters.
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are on a State Visit to Estonia at the invitation of President Alar Karis from May 2nd to the 4th, to deepen the relationship between Estonia and Sweden, including the relationship in the EU where Estonia and Sweden are like-minded on many issues, particularly in security and defense as well as a closer cooperation between Swedish and Estonian businesses with a focus on digitization and green transition, as well as dducation and research.
The Swedish Royal Family hosted the annual Sverigemiddag (Sweden Dinner) at the Royal Palace of Stockholm on the evening of January 20th. The dinner, first held in 2013, is for all Swedes who have made an important contribution to society.
Royal Guests from around the world joined the Greek Royal Family for the the Funeral of King Constantine II of Greece at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens at noon on January 16th, which will be followed by the Burial in the Royal Cemetery at Tatoi Palace. The former King Constantine II was an Olympic Gold Medalist before becoming the Sovereign for nine years and then being exiled for over 40 years, returning to Greece only a decade ago. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel joined King Carl XVI Gustav and Queen Silvia for the Formal Gathering of the Swedish Academy at the Stortorget in Stockholm, to finalise the following year’s Nobel Laureates.
The extended Swedish Royal Family have joined King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden as he awards the Nobel Prizes at the annual Ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall in Stockholm on December 10th. Afterwards, the Swedish Royal Family will attend the glittering Nobel Banquet at the Stockholm City Hall. The Noble Peace Prizes are awarded in Oslo, in a ceremony with the Norwegian Royal Family in attendance.
