Dutch State Visit to Luxembourg

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands are on a 3-day State Visit to Luxembourg to strengthen political, economic, and diplomatic ties, from May 23rd to 25th. The Dutch Royal Family have close ties to the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg, especially since the Grand Duchy used to be part of the Kingdom of The Netherlands until 1890.   Continue reading

Diplomatic Corps Gala Dinner at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam 2018

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands hosted the annual Gala Dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam in Dam Square on April 24th. Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet, and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven were also present. The Gala Dinner is held in order to maintain international relations and strengthen ties. Jordanian Official Visit to the Netherlands

King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan are on an Official State Visit to the Netherlands, at the invitation of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, to strengthen and celebrate their political, economic and cultural ties as well as their common work in employment, education and the reception of refugees. The visit is a downgraded version of a State Visit that was rescheduled last year. Continue reading
