Royals at the United Nations

Royals from around the world have been in New York City this week for the 72nd meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. They also attended events surrounding Goalkeepers 2017, organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to highlight progress against global poverty and disease, showcase solutions to help advance the Sustainable Development Goals (or Global Goals) and foster bold leadership to help accelerate the path to a more prosperous, healthy and just future. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Golden Wedding Anniversary

The Danish Royal Family celebrated Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Golden Wedding Anniversary by unveiling a statue at Fredensborg Palace on June 5th. The statue, called “Miss Fredensborg,” was designed by Prince Henrik and is the couple’s gift to each other.
