The Norwegian Royal Court has announced the death of King Harald V of Norway, who has passed away at the Rikshospitalet in Oslo at the age of 89, after being treated at the blood disease hemolytic anemia in recent weeks. The popular Norwegian King for thirty-five years grew up in the United States during the Second World War and was the first Norwegian-born Monarch to inherit the Throne in over 600 years.
