Royal Ladies wore spectacular Heirloom Tiaras at the Wedding of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby at Oslo Cathedral, as Six Kings, Eight Queens, Seven Heirs and numerous Princes and Princesses joined the Norwegian Royal Family to celebrate the Wedding.
Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, the son of King Harald V and Queen Sonja, married Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby at Oslo Cathedral. During the hour-long ceremony, the Bishop os Oslo said:
You have not chosen the easiest path, but love has triumphed
After the ceremony, the couple exited the cathedral, and even kissed for the cheering crowds. The couple then drove back to the Palace in a vintage 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible, which was also used for the wedding of King Harald and Queen Sonja, before they appeared on the Balcony of the Royal Palace of Oslo.

The new Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore the Diamond Daisy Bandeau, a wedding gift from King Harald and Queen Sonja, which was was likely acquired from Garrard.
Queen Sonja wore the historic Norwegian Emerald Parure and the Order of St. Olav.
Queen Margrethe II of Denmark wore the Baden Palmette Tiara with the Antique Diamond Earrings and the Danish Diamond Rivière, as well as the Order of St. Olav.
Queen Silvia of Sweden wore Queen Sofia’s Nine Prong Tiara and the Order of St. Olav.
Queen Sofia of Spain wore her Floral Tiara with her Wedding Necklace and Earrings and her Diamond Bow Brooch, as well as the Order of St. Olav.
