Wedding Gala of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden

Royal Guests and Relatives joined the Swedish Royal Family for a Gala Performance at the Stockholm Concert Hall following a Dinner hosted by the Swedish Prime Minister on this day in 2010,  on the eve of the Wedding of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and following a Gala Dinner at Drottningholm Palace!

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a Gala Dinner at Drottningholm Palace, two days before the Wedding of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling. Since this was a private Dinner, Royal Guests were only pictured departing their Royal Yachts or the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, with long-range shots taken of Drottningholm Palace.

Earlier that morning, the Dutch, Belgian, Danish, and Norwegian Royal Families were pictured arriving at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, with many taking their children for some wedding rehearsals.

Following a Lunch at Sturehof Castle, Royal guests joined the Swedish Royal Family for a Dinner hosted by the Swedish Prime Minister at the Eric Ericsonhallen.

Afterwards, the Bridal Couple and the Royal Guests attended a Gala Performance hosted by the Swedish Parliament at the Stockholm Concert Hall, which featured the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Malena Ernman, Helen Sjöholm, Peter Jöback, and the reunion of the Swedish band Roxette.

On June 17th, many Royal Guests arrived in Stockholm, including the Dutch, Belgian, Danish, and Norwegian Royal Families, who were pictured arriving at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm and leaving for a private Dinner hosted by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia at Drottningholm Palace.

The following day, there were a lot more Royal guests present for a Lunch at Sturehof Castle, which was followed by a Dinner hosted by the Swedish Prime Minister at the Eric Ericsonhallen in the evening. Afterwards, the couple and the royal guests attended a Gala Performance hosted by the Swedish Parliament at the Stockholm Concert Hall, which featured the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Malena Ernman, Helen Sjöholm, Peter Jöback, and the reunion of the Swedish band Roxette.

  1. Beautiful pictures of an equally beautiful occasion! Beginning with the happy couple, everyone seemed to be in such a good mood and looking wonderful. Happy times indeed! The best part is that CP Victoria and Prince Daniel seem to be just as happy now as they were ten years ago. Congratulations!
