Grand Duke Guillaume V and Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg are hosting Finnish President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb on a two-day State Visit to Luxembourg on September 29 and 30, which is the first State Visit of their Reign. In addition to bilateral relations, topics on the agenda will include, among others, commercial and economic cooperation, European security and its strengthening, as well as Ukraine.
President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb were welcomed by Grand Duke Guillaume V and Grand Duchess Stéphanie in an Official Welcome Ceremony outside the Grand Ducal Palace, followed by a bilateral meeting and a Luncheon.
The Grand Duchess and Suzanne Innes Stubb visited the MNAHA Museum and the National Centre for Victims of Violence, managed by the Luxembourg Red Cross. Later, the Grand Ducal Couple and Presidential Couple visited the Luxembourg City Hall and met with Mayor Lydie Polfer.
In the evening, Grand Duke Guillaume V and Grand Duchess Stéphanie hosted a State Banquet for President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb at the Grand Ducal Palace.
Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte’s Sapphire Necklace Tiara and the Nassau Diamond Bracelets.
