The British Royal Family are hosting Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman at Windsor Castle on his State Visit to the United Kingdom this week, following the last Oman State Visit to Britain in 1982.
The Prince of Wales greeted Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said in London and traveled with him to Datchet Road in Windsor.
King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and the Princess of Wales received the Sultan in an Official Welcome Ceremony in the town of Windsor before a Carriage Procession to Windsor Castle, where there was a Guard of Honour.
Following Lunch with the Royal Family, the King and Queen invited the Sultan to view a special exhibition of items relating to Oman from the Royal Collection in the Green Drawing Room.
Queen Camilla wore the Queen Mother’s Cartier Ruby and Diamond Floral Brooch.
The Princess of Wales wore the Prince of Wales Feathers Brooch
In the evening, there will be a State Banquet in honour of the Sultan of Oman at Windsor Castle.
