Wedding of the Earl of Wessex

Happy 18th Wedding Anniversary to the Earl and Countess of Wessex, who got married in Windsor on this day in 1999. Take a look at scenes from their wedding below-

The forty-five minute ceremony took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

After the service, the couple rode in an open carriage to Windsor Castle for the reception.

The new Countess of Wessex wore a hand-dyed ivory silk organza gown by Samantha Shaw with a diamond scroll tiara, black and white pearl earrings and a necklace, and a tulle veil. The Earl of Wessex wore Morning Dress.
