While the provenance of the Diamond Necklace Tiara is unknown, there is little doubt that it originates from Princess Sarvath, who was pictured wearing the coordinating earrings in the 1970s.

This striking Diamond Necklace Tiara first made an appearance on Princess Sumaya, the second daughter of Princess Sarvath, for the Wedding of her friend, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, in 2002.

A few years later, the Diamond Necklace Tiara was worn by the elder daughter, Princess Rahmah, when she joined King Abdullah and Queen Rania on the Jordanian State Visit to The Netherlands in 2006.

The following year, the piece returned to The Netherlands, when it was worn by the youngest daughter, Princess Badiya, for King Willem-Alexander’s 40th Birthday Dinner.

More recently, the Diamond Necklace Tiara has been worn by Princess Sarvath’s daughter-in-law, Princess Zeina, who wore it for the Wedding Gala of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy in 2012. With the Wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif coming up, lets hope this splendid jewel makes a reappearance soon!
