A spectacular carved jade ringed by diamonds, suspended from a thin chain, this Jade Pendant is of an unknown provenance but is like antique and was acquired new by the Countess of Wessex at some point in the early 2010s, making its public debut at a Gala Fundraising Dinner, in aid of the Newport Minster Renewal Appeal, at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes in 2014.

The Pendant made a more memorable appearance on Day 1 of Royal Ascot in 2017, when the Countess of Wessex took a tumble towards the Duchess of Cambridge when entering the carriage ahead of the Royal Procession. There is no doubt we will continue to see this splendid piece for years to come!
