The Norwegian Royal Family celebrated Constitution Day, the National Day of Norway, on May 17th by greeting the annual Children’s Parade in Asker from Skaugum (residence of the Crown Princely family) and another from the balcony of the Royal Palace of Oslo.

Sad news today! Countess Marianne Bernadotte of Wisborg, Princess Bernadotte has passed away at the age of 100. The Actress who married a former Swedish Prince and was the last surviving aunt of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Countess Marianne had been a beloved member of the Swedish Royal Family for over six decades.

The Duchess of Gloucester hosted the annual Garden Party for the Not Forgotten Association at Buckingham Palace on May 16th. There are usually three annual Garden Parties hosted by the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood House for around 30,000 guests yearly, as well as a few special others, which includes today’s Garden Party.

King Charles III and the Prince of Wales attended the 300th Anniversary Service of the Order of the Bath at Westminster Abbey on May 16th. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath is the fourth most senior British Order of Chivalry, which was founded by King George I 300 years ago.

Later today, King Charles III and the Prince of Wales will attend the Service of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath at Westminster Abbey. The Order of the Bath is the fourth most senior British Orders of Chivalry awarded to Foreign Heads of State, senior military officers, and civil servants, which was founded by King George I 300 years ago!
