Aga Khan’s Golden Jubilee Dinner at Buckingham Palace

Queen Elizabeth II (wearing the George VI Festoon Necklace and the Antique Girandole Earrings) and the Duke of Edinburgh host Gala Dinner at Buckingham Palace to mark the Golden Jubilee of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV on this day in 2008. The Aga Khan is the hereditary spiritual Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims, and marked his 50th Jubilee in July 2007.

Also present were the Aga Khan’s siblings, Princess Yasmina Aga Khan and Prince Amyn Aga Khan, as well as his son Prince Hussain and daughter-in-law, Princess Khalyia.
