King Charles III hosted the American President Joe Biden on a short visit at Windsor Castle on July 10th. The President and First Lady met the late Queen in 2021 and also attended the Queen’s Funeral in 2022.
American State Visits to Britain
The King welcomed the Presidential Couple at a dais in the quadrangle of the castle, where they inspected the Guard of Honour before watching the Military Parade, and then posed for a photo in the Grand Corridor and had Tea inside the Castle. The King and President later met with participants of the Climate Finance Mobilisation Forum in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.
