Royal Guests and Relatives from around Europe joined the Grand Ducal Family for the ‘Joyeuse Entrée’ Festivities to celebrate the Enthronement of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg on this day in 2001, 25 years ago, several months after his Accession to the Grand Ducal Throne the previous October!
Following a Gala Performance, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg held a Gala Dinner for the Heirs of The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmarks, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Liechtenstein and Monao at the Palais Grand Ducal.

The following morning, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa led all the Royal Guests on a Tour of Luxembourg City.
Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg abdicated last October in the Salle des Fêtes at Palais Grand-Ducal in Luxembourg, after a Reign of 25 years, and has been succeed by his eldest son, Grand Duke Guillaume V.
