Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie’s Diamond Earrings

Happy Birthday to Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg, who turns 37 today! The Belgian Countess who is set to be the Consort of the world’s only Grand Duchy, she has access to an enormous collection of jewels, but today’s piece is a part of her personal jewellery box!

Featuring two central diamonds within a diamond chandelier, these earrings have an unknown provenance, but Luxarazzi suspects that they might be Lannoy Family Heirlooms or a gift from  Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume. They were prominently worn by Isabelle de le Court, the Hereditary Grand Duchess’ elder sister for their Wedding Gala at the Grand Ducal Palace.

Since her Wedding, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie has worn her Diamond Earrings for a variety of royal events, including with the Grand Duchess Adélaïde Tiara at Queen Beatrix’s Abdication Dinner in 2013, the Pre-Wedding Gala of Princess Madeline of Sweden, and a National Day Gala, again with the Grand Duchess Adélaïde Tiara.

Most recently, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore her Diamond Earrings for another very important event, the Baptism of her first child, Prince Charles of Luxembourg, at the Abbaye Saint-Maurice de Clervaux last year. There is no doubt we will continue to see these earrings for many years to come!
