Duchess of Brabant’s Swearing-In at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels

The Belgian Royal Family gathered to see Crown Princess Elisabeth, the Duchess of Brabant, the Heiress to the Belgian Throne, sworn-in to the Rank of Second Lieutenant or Ensign Second Class in the Belgian Army at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels on September 26th. The Duchess of Brabant completed her training year at the Royal Military Academy in 2021 and is currently a student at Lincoln College in Oxford University.

Dinner at Fredensborg Palace

The Danish Royal Family hosted the Hæderstegnsmiddag Dinner for Army Officers at Fredensborg Palace on the evening of September 26th, the birthday of the late King Christian X. The Queen hosts the alternating annual Dinner for the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, this year for the Army’s Badge of Honour, awarded to employees in the Army who have had 25 years of service in the Armed Forces. British Royal Visits to France

King Charles and Queen Camila will begin their State Visit to France today, which will be the latest in over 500 years of British State Visits to France, celebrating the close relationship between the neighbours and allies. Five of the Ten British State Visits to France were made by the late Queen Elizabeth II, while today’s State Visit will be King Charles’ 36th Official Visit to France.

Queen Máxima, the Princess of Orange, Princess AlexiaPrince Constantjin and Princess Laurentien joined King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands as he gave the annual Prinsjesdag (Prince’s Day or Budget Day) Speech to the Dutch Parliament to outline the government’s agenda for the coming session on September 20th in The Hague.
