King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden awarded the Nobel Prizes at the annual Ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall in Stockholm on December 10th. Afterwards, the Swedish Royal Family attended the glittering Nobel Banquet at the Stockholm City Hall. The Noble Peace Prizes are awarded in Oslo, in a ceremony with the Norwegian Royal Family in attendance. Continue reading
Emperor Naruhito of Japan is being Officially Enthroned as the 126th Emperor on the Chrysanthemum Throne in a series of Ceremonies and Banquets in Tokyo this week, with a multitude Royal Guests from around the world in attendance. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are on a Business Visit to Copenhagen from September 16th to the 18th, to strengthen the links and strategic cooperation between Danish and Swedish business. They are being hosted by their friends and cousins, Crown Prince Frederik (the current Regent) and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who made a similar visit to Stockholm two years ago.
The Swedish Royal Family hosting President Moon Jae-In and First Lady Kim Jung-sook of South Korea, who is on a State Visit to Sweden on June 14th and 15th, to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties.
