Representationsmiddag

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden hosted the annual Representationsmiddag (Representatives Dinner) at the Royal Palace of Stockholm on the evening of November 12th. After posing for photographers, the King and Queen, joined by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl-Phillip, Princess Sofia, Princess Christina, and Tord Magnuson, received and welcomed guests in the White Sea Room of the Royal Palace of Stockholm, before the Official Dinner served in Karl XI’s Gallery. Guests included representatives from the diplomatic corps, parliament, government, government, science, sports, business, culture and people that the Royal Family met when traveling.

King Carl XVI Gustav wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star.  Queen Silvia wore a red gown with the Connaught Diamond Tiara, diamond earrings, a diamond riviere, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch. Crown Princess Victoria wore her Escada Gela gown with the Six-Button Tiara, diamond floral earrings, diamond floral brooch, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch. Prince Daniel wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star.

Prince Carl-Phillip wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star. Princess Sofia wore a By Malina gown with her Wedding Tiara, Queen Silvia’s Emerald Earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch. Princess Christina wore a purple gown, the Four-Button Tiara, her sapphire Necklace, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch. Tord Magnuson wore White Tie with the neck badges of the Order of Vasa and H. M. The King’s Medal as well as his medals.
