Royal Guests gathered from around the globe for the magnificent Wedding Ball of Crown Prince Leka II of Albania and Elia Zaharia at the Royal Palace of Tirana on this day in 2016, 10 years ago, following their Wedding Ceremony.

Following the Wedding Ceremony, Crown Prince Leka II of Albania and Crown Princess Elia of Albania hosted Royal Guests from around 20 Royal Families for a spectacular Dinner and Ball at the Royal Palace of Tirana.

Crown Princess Elia wore the Sapphire Goat Tiara.

The Wedding of Crown Prince Leka of the Albanians and Elia Zaharia began at the Royal Palace of Tirana, where the couple walked down the aisle together, had a short ceremony conducted by the mayor, and then listened to speeches by leaders of the major religions of Albania. Later, the Crown Prince and Princess posed with their wedding party outside the Royal Palace and attended a Reception in the Garden.

For the ceremony, the new Crown Princess Elia wore a satin gown with heavy embroidery over the bodice and hem and a long train, anchored by the Sapphire Goat Tiara. After changing into a lace gown for the reception, she changed back into her wedding gown for the Ball.
