Queen Camilla hosted a reception to raise awareness of violence against women and girls as part of the UN 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence at Buckingham Palace on November 29th, for which she was joined by Queen Rania of Jordan, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and the Countess of Wessex.

Foreign Royal Guests and Relatives and Heads of State and Representatives of 121 Countries joined the British Royal Family for the Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on September 19th, followed by a Procession to Marble Arch and a Committal Service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The late Queen, who passed away at Balmoral Castle earlier this month, had been Lying-in-State first at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh and then at Westminster Hall in London for the past week.
Ahead of the Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey tomorrow, the British Royal Family hosted a Reception for visiting Heads of State and Representatives at Buckingham Palace, which is stated to be one of the largest gatherings of Heads of State in History. Princess Maria Laura of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este, daughter of Prince Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este and Princess Astrid of Belgium, married William Isvy at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels on September 10th, following a Civil Ceremony at the Brussels City Hall.
Princess Maria Laura of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este, daughter of Prince Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este and Princess Astrid of Belgium, will be marrying William Isvy in Brussels tomorrow, and since we have already featured the Savoy-Aosta Tiara and the Austria-Este Tiara, today, we will feature Queen Elisabeth’s Diamond Bandeau, which could be worn by Princess Maria Laura tomorrow!

The day commemorates July 21st, 1831 in which Prince Leopold of Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha swore allegiance to the new Belgian constitution, thus becoming the first Head of State of an independent state of Belgium under a constitutional monarchy and parliament.
