From tomorrow, there is a special Coronation Display as part of the ten-week annual Summer Opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, which will run from 14 July – 24 September 2023, and features items from the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla this year. The Belgian Royal Court has released new Official Portraits of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of The Belgians to mark the 10th Anniversary of the King’s Accession. Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. The Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club while the Duchess of Gloucester is the President of the Lawn Tennis Association .

Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, represented the Queen to grant Independence to the Colony of The Bahamas on this day in 1973, 50 years ago, marking the end of 300-years of British Rule. The Bahamas continue to be members of the Commonwealth and one of the Commonwealth Realms, with the now King Charles as their Sovereign.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh hosted King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece on their State Visit to Britain on this ay in 1963, 60 years ago, which was the first and only State Visit between the two countries during the Queen’s long Reign. King Paul was the first cousin of the Duke of Edinburgh and all four were related as descendants of Queen Victoria. 1963 was a busy year for the Greek Royal Family, with King Paul and Queen Frederica’s Silver Wedding Anniversary, the Engagement of Crown Prince Constantine of Greece and Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark, and the Centenary of the Greek Monarchy.
The Princess of Asturias joined King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia as they presided over the ceremony of delivery of Dispatches and appointments to the new officers of the Army who have completed their training at the Academia General Militar in Zaragoza. The Princess of Asturias will begin three years of military training at the Academia General Militar in September, followed by a year in a Naval School and a third year in the Air Force Academy.
