Official Portraits of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium

The Belgian Royal Court has released new Official Portraits of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of The Belgians to mark the 10th Anniversary of the King’s Accession. These Portraits replace those released five years ago, which in turn replaced the first Official Portraits released on their Accession in 2013.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde posed for the series of portraits at their residence, the Royal Chateau of Laeken, with pictures released in Daytime and Gala Dress. The New Official Portraits of the King and Queen will be distributed in administrative buildings throughout the Kingdom and at Belgian Embassies abroad.

King Philippe wore his Gala Uniform of an Army General (4 stars) with the insignia of the Order of Leopold.

Queen Mathilde is wearing the Nine Provinces Tiara and her Diamond Fringe Earrings with a repeated Armani Gown and the Sash and Star of the Order of Leopold.
