King Paul and Queen Frederica’s Silver Wedding Anniversary, 1963

After the Greek New Year’s Reception, King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece hosted Royal Guests and Relatives as they celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary at the Royal Palace of Athens on this day in 1963, just days before going to Denmark for the Engagement of Crown Prince Constantine of Greece to Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark and weeks before the Greek Monarchy Centenary Celebrations.

King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece (wearing the Greek Ruby Parure) were joined by Crown Prince Constantine and Princess Irene as well as Princess Sofia of Spain and Prince Juan Carlos in addition to Princess Katherine, Princess Alice and Prince Michael of Greece and the Count and Countess of Barcelona.
