It’s that time of year again! The British Royal Family attended the First Day of Races at the Ascot Racecourse on June 16th. Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar following Trooping the Colour and the Order of the Garter Service and the late Queen attended all five days of the horse-racing event for over 70 years.
A Royal Procession of four carriages traveled from Windsor Castle to the Ascot Racecourse in horse-drawn landaus, before the Royal Family and their guests spent the day in the Royal Enclosure.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla (wearing the Cullinan V Brooch) were joined by the Duke of Wellington and Princess Antonia, Duchess of Wellington in the First Carriage.
In the Second Carriage, the Princess Royal was joined by Peter and Harriet Phillips and Queen Camilla’s nephew, Sir Ben Elliot.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were joined by Mr. Gus Christie and Ms Danielle de Niese in the Third Carriage.
Mr. & Mrs. Matt Ramsden sat with Mr. & Mrs. Luke Irwin in the Fourth Carriage.
