Royal Guests and Relatives from around Europe joined the Greek Royal Family to celebrate the Christening of Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Denmark at the Saint Sophia Cathedral in London on this day in 2001, 25 years ago!

Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Denmark, son of Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, was christened in a Greek Orthodox Ceremony at the St. Sophia’s Cathedral in London, officiated by the Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, followed by a Gala Dinner that evening.

The Prince’s Godparents are Princess Theodora of Greece, Infanta Elena of Spain, Prince Alexander von Furstenberg, Prince Kardam of Bulgaria, Princess Rosario of Bulgaria, Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg, and Veronica Toub.
