The Wedding of Crown Prince Hamzah of Jordan and Princess Noor bint Asem at the Raghdan Palace in Amman on this day in 2004, following a religious wedding the previous summer and followed by a Reception hosted by King Abdullah II at the Zahran Palace. This was the third Crown Princely Wedding that month, after the Weddings of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Prince Felipe of Spain, but unlike the two others, Prince Hamzah and Princess Noor got divorced in 2009, and Prince Hamzah was rescinded as the Heir in 2004, replaced by his nephew, the current Crown Prince Hussein.
