Happy Birthday to the Countess of Frederiksborg, who turns 59 today! The former wife of Prince Joachim of Denmark, who remains close the the Danish Royal Family after their divorce, Countess Alexandra has retained the Alexandrine Drop Tiara, as well as other jewels she received during her marring, including this Sapphire and Diamond Necklace!
King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House in London to the 20th anniversary of wildlife conservation charity Elephant Family, which was established by the Queen’s late brother Mark Shand in 2003. This year’s annual Animal Ball was a celebration of indigenous communities, hosted by the Elephant Family in partnership with the British Asian Trust. Continue reading

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were in Scotland on this day 70 years ago, for a week long visit with a series of Parades, Services and Banquets, as well as a ‘Scottish Coronation’ Ceremony, as part of her Coronation Celebrations around Britain and the Commonwealth. King Charles and Queen Camilla will be in Scotland for their first post-Coronation visit next week.
Today marks the Anniversary of the Birth of Princess Margaretha of Sweden and Denmark, who was born on this day in 1899! The hardworking Swedish Princess who married a Danish Prince and became the beloved aunt of the Sovereigns of Belgium, Norway & Luxembourg, Princess Margaretha possessed some spectacular jewels, including this Diamond Flower Brooch!

Today marks the Anniversary of the Death of Queen Maria of Yugoslavia, who died on this day in 1961! The Romanian Princess who married the first Yugoslavia King that was assassinated and later became the mother of the last King of Yugoslavia before spending decades in exile in the United Kingdom, Queen Maria lived a fascinating life, and possessed an intriguing jewellery collection, which included this Cartier Diamond Eagle!
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are hosting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands on their State Visit to Belgium from June 20th to the 22nd, which is the latest in the close relationship between the Dutch and Belgian Royal Families over decades. Continue reading
