The British Peeresses glittered in their Heirloom Tiaras (possibly for the last time) as King Charles and Queen Camilla presided over yesterday’s splendid State Opening of Parliament in the Chamber of the House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster!
Queen Camilla joined King Charles III as he presided over the Official Opening of the Session of Parliament in the Chamber of the House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster in London on July 17th, the second of the King’s Reign following the Coronation.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended a Ceremony at the Senedd, the Welsh Parliament, in Cardiff on the occasion of its 25th Anniversary, during a visit to Wales following Holyrood Week.
The Prince of Wales (Duke of Rothesay in Scotland) and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the Service of the Order of the Thistle at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh on July 3rd, following a Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse during Royal Week in Scotland. The Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle is the highest Order in Scotland and the second highest Order in the United Kingdom, and it’s service is held every two years.
Queen Camilla and the Duke of Edinburgh will be formally invested into the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle, the most senior Honour of Scotland, during today’s biannual Service at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh in the midst of the annual Holyrood Week!

There are usually four annual Garden Parties hosted by the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood House for around 30,000 guests yearly, as well as a few special others.
Earlier this week, Queen Camilla debuted the long-awaited Royal Family Order of King Charles III during the Japanese State Banquet at Buckingham Palace, almost two years into the new Reign. The Order is probably the most exclusive Honour of the United Kingdom, a piece of splendid insignia given to select female members of the Royal Family at the sole discretion of the Sovereign.

Royalty from around Europe have joined Heads of State from around the World on the Beaches of Normandy to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, which launched the campaign to liberate Europe during the Second World War.
The Prince of Wales joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the UK’s national commemorative event in Portsmouth to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings on June 5th, ahead of the Commemorative events in Normandy tomorrow.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and Lady Amelia Windsor joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on May 21st. Members of the Royal family have attended the Show, held by the Royal Horticultural Society, regularly since its inception in 1913.
