Royalty from around Europe have gathered for the Opening Ceremony of the FEI World Championships in Aachen in Germany on August 11th, one of the equestrian world’s most prestigious events.
Queen Mary of Denmark, the Princess of Orange, Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Infanta Elena of Spain and Zara Tindall were at the Opening Ceremony of the FEI World Championships in Aachen in Germany.
The competition, which begins today and continues through August 23, features six core international equestrian disciplines: jumping, dressage, para dressage, eventing, driving, and vaulting. Team events in dressage, show jumping, and eventing serve as crucial qualifying events for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The opening ceremony at Allianz Park also included a procession of historic carriages from the royal stables of the Netherlands, Denmark, and the United Kingdom.
