Confirmation of Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine of Denmark

Royal Guests and Godparents have joined the Danish Royal Family to celebrate the Confirmation of Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine of Denmark at the Fredensborg Palace Church on April 18th.

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark received the Royal Family as they walked from the Chancellery House before Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander and Princess Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda of Denmark, the younger children of  King Frederik X and Queen Mary, were confirmed in a ceremony officiated by the Royal Confessor, Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen, at the Fredensborg Palace Church.

Following the ceremony, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine came out of the Palace to speak to the Press.

“It’s a good day, the biggest wish is that the mood would be good and that everyone has a good time. We’ve been looking forward to today, me and Fine, and we’re grateful that our friends and family are here. I hope we’ll have a brilliant day, me and Fine.

It gives me a lot of support to have her to lean on, that we can go through everything together. I couldn’t imagine being celebrated without him, it wouldn’t be a special day. And it’s very nice to know you have a support by your side, someone you can trust.”
