King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece joined Queen Margrethe II of Denmark as she celebrated her 86th Birthday at Fredensborg Palace on April 16th.
Queen Margrethe II of Denmark was joined by her son and daughter-in-law, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark, and her sister, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, for a concert by the Royal Life Guards Band in the Inner Courtyard of Fredensborg Palace.
The Royal Lifeguard Music Corps in connection with the changing of the guard at Fredensborg Castle performed a smaller birthday concert in Inner Castle on occasion of Queen Margrethe’s birthday.
Queen Margrethe, together with Their Majesties The King and The Queen and Her Majesty Queen Anne-Marie, attended the concert from the castle’s main stairs. Starting at 1 o’clock 11:45 am citizens were invited to line up in Inner Slotsgård by the main stairs to take part in the celebration of Queen Margrethe.
