The Jewels of Lady Sarah Chatto

Happy Birthday to Lady Sarah Chatto, who turns 60 today! The only daughter of Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong Jones, Lord Snowdon, she was born during the Royal Baby Boom of 1964, and was the only niece of Queen Elizabeth II. Having inherited the bulk of her mother’s jewellery collection, we are featuring the Jewels of Lady Sarah Chatto!

Origin: Inherited by Princess Margaret from her grandmother, Queen Mary.

Notable Appearances: The Queen’s 80th Birthday Dinner in 2006, the Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011, and the Wedding of Zara Phillips in 2011.

Greville Pearl Earrings

Origin: Unknown, possibly date from the 1930s. Inherited from Dame Margaret Greville, the Hon Mrs Greville by the Queen Mother in 1942 and given to Princess Margaret in the 1950s. Given as a Wedding Gift to Lady Sarah in 1994
