Royal Ascot 2022 | Day 3

The British Royal Family attended the third day of races at the Ascot Racecourse on June 16th. Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar. The Queen has attended all five days of the horse-racing event since 1953, though she was only present for one day in 2021 and so far not present this year. The Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence were joined by Zara and Mike Tindall in the first Carriage, Lady Sarah Chatto and Daniel Chatto with Viscount and Viscountess Brookeborough in the second Carriage, the Duke and Duchess of Bedford with Sir Johnny and Lady Weatherby in the third Carriage, and Lady Carolyn and John Warren with Mr. and Mrs Martin St. Quinton in the final Carriage, for the procession from Windsor Castle to the Ascot Racecourse in horse-drawn landaus, before the Royal Family and their guests spent the day in the Royal Enclosure. The Countess of Wessex, Crown Prince Pavlos, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal, and Princess Maria Olympia of Greece were also present.
