Sad news out of Germany this week! Princess Anastasia of Prussia, Princess zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg has passed away at the age of 82. The granddaughter of the last German Crown Prince was married to the Head of the illustrious Princely Family of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg.
The daughter of Prince Hubertus of Prussia, the third son of Crown Prince Wilhelm of Germany, and Princess Magdalena Reuss of Köstritz, Princess Anastasia married Hereditary Prince Aloys-Konstantin of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, son of the Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg and Carolina dei Conti Rignon, in 1966.
The couple had four children; Hereditary Prince Carl Friedrich, Prince Hubertus, Princess Christina, and Prince Dominik, and eleven grandchildren. The Prince and Princess of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg resided at Schloss Löwenstein in Kleinheubach after the sale of Kloster Bronnbach in 1986.
Related to most German Royal Families, Princess Anastasia was a regular at Royal and Noble events throughout Europe, often wearing the magnificent Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg Tiara!
