Wedding of Princess Iman of Jordan

Princess Iman bint Abdullah of Jordan, the elder daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, married Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in a Katb al Kitab Ceremony at the Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman on the afternoon of March 12th. The Ladies of the Jordanian Royal Family celebrated the Henna Party of Princess Iman at the Al Husseiniya Palace earlier this week.

Princess Iman bint Abdullah was led down the aisle by her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, while King Abdullah II and Queen Rania welcomed guests and members of the extended Jordanian Royal Family.

Princess Iman married Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in a Katb al Kitab Ceremony, during which the Iman laid out the terms of the marriage before both the bride and groom signed the wedding contract, which was then signed by King Abdullah, Crown Prince Hussein, and Prince Hashem as the three witnesses, before the bride and groom exchanged rings.

Following the Katb al Kitab Ceremony, Princess Iman and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis met members of their families before they went to an adjoining Hall for the Wedding Reception, where they were welcomed by traditional Jordanian singers and cut the cake. 


Princess Iman wore a Dior white gown with lace on the bodice and sleeves, as well as a Diamond Tiara, either from Chaumet or from her grandmother, Princess Muna.

The 150 guests included members of the extended Jordanian Royal Family; Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif, Princess Muna, Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath, Princess Alia, Princess Aisha, Princess Zein, Princess Raiyah and Faris Ned Donovan, Princess Basma, Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad and Princess Miriam al-Ghazi, Dowager Princess of Turnovo, Princess Majda Raad, Princess Dana Firas, Princess Dina Mired, Princess Fakhrelnissa Raad, Princess Sana Asem, and Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.

The Ladies of the Jordanian Royal Family celebrated the Henna Party of Princess Iman at the Al Husseiniya Palace earlier this week.
