Princess of Wales at Anzac Day Service  

The Princess of Wales and Princess Royal attended services commemorating Anzac Day in London on 25th April. Anzac Day has been observed in London since King George V attended the first service at Westminster Abbey in 1916 to mark the anniversary of the landings at Gallipoli/Anzac Day is commemorated as a public holiday in both Australia and New Zealand, with memorial ceremonies held at various locations.

Duchess of Gloucester’s Pearl Pendant Earrings

Today marks the 250th Anniversary of the Birth of Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh, who was born on this day in 1776! The daughter of King George III, the Duchess of Gloucester had a spectacular jewellery collection, with several prominent heirlooms being passed down to the late Queen, which included the Duchess of Gloucester’s Pearl Pendant Earrings!
