It has just been announced that the Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, consort of Queen Elizabeth II has passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle, at the age of 99, just a few months before his 100th Birthday. Members of the British Royal family celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday by attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 8th. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh hosted their annual Christmas Lunch for members of the extended British Royal Family at Buckingham Palace on December 19th. This lunch is held for those family members who aren’t invited to spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham in Norfolk, due to lack of space. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have released four official photographs from their Wedding day, which were taken by photographer Alex Bramall at Windsor Castle and later in the day at the private dinner at Royal Lodge. “The couple are delighted to be able to share these images of their special day.”
Princess Eugenie of York, younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, married Jack Brooksbank at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on October 12th. The bride is 9th-in-line to the Throne, and the first of the Queen’s male-line granddaughters to get married. The couple announced their engagement in January. Continue reading
