Memorial Service for Princess Irene of Greece

The extended Spanish Royal Family attended a Memorial Service for the late Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Andrew and Saint Demetrius in Madrid on January 17th, ahead of the Funeral in Athens. The younger sister of King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Sofia of Spain, Princess Irene was an accomplished pianist and founded a humanitarian organization in exile.

Funeral of Princess Tatiana Radziwiłł

The Spanish and Greek Royal Families led the Royal Guests at the Funeral of Princess Tatiana Radziwiłł, Mrs Fruchaud at the Église Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin in Paris on January 10th. A nurse and bacteriologist, Princess Tatiana Radziwiłł was the daughter of a Polish Prince and a Greek Princess, and the granddaughter of the legendary Princess Marie Bonaparte, as well as being the lifelong friend of Queen Sofia of Spain.

Royalty at the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum

Royalty from around the world are leading Heads of State and Dignitaries at the Opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza on November 1st. The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), displays tens of thousands of artefacts including the entire 5,000-piece collection of treasures unearthed with Tutankhamun in one place for the first time since the discovery of the tomb back in 1922.

Royalty at Wimbledon Men’s Final 

The Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, led Royalty at the Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz on July 13th. Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. The Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club while the Duchess of Gloucester is the President of the Lawn Tennis Association. Continue reading
