Crown Prince Haakon joined King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway as they held their annual Gala Dinner for the Bishops of the Church of Norway at the Royal Palace of Oslo on December 4th, just a few weeks after the annual Gala Dinner for Members of the Norwegian Parliament (Stortingsmiddag).

Traditionally, the bishops sang the table verse “Everyone turns their eyes to you” before the meal was served🎶
Queen Sonja wore Queen Alexandra’s Diamond Circlet and Queen Alexandra’s Diamond Chandelier Earrings with the Sash & Star of the Order of St. Olav and King Harald’s Family Order
I’m so happy to see this tiara!! She hardly ever wears it!!!!
Hopefully they will now publish photos from this event every year. I know it is not every year they host a dinner. Some years it is “only” a luncheon and then of course no tiaras or white-tie with Orders are worn. But those times when it is a white-tie event I do hope to see photos.
