Composed of Diamond Tassels suspended from large diamonds, these jewels are heirlooms of the Wellesley Family, and were notably pictured on Kathleen, wife of the 4th Duke of Wellington, for a series of portraits in 1906, paired with the Wellington Tiara and most other family jewels on her person, including the Diamond Tassels suspended in her Corsage.

In 2015, the Diamond Tassels were worn as earrings by Princess Antonia, Duchess of Wellington, along with the Diamond Choker worn by the 4th Duchess, for a Banquet held at the Egmont Palace in Brussels on the eve of the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo. The following day, the Duke and Duchess held their own Banquet at Apsley House in London.

The following year, in 2016, the Diamond Tassel earrings were paired with the Von Preussen Tiara when they were worn by, Lady Charlotte Santo Domingo, daughter of the Duke and Duchess for the Colombian State Banquet at Buckingham Palace. There is no doubt we will continue to see these magnificent family heirlooms worn for years to come!
