The Princely Family of Liechtenstein celebrated the Wedding of Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein and Angela Gisela Brown at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer in New York City on this day in 2000, following a Civil Ceremony in Vaduz!
Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein, the second son of Prince Hans Adam II and Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, married Angela Gisela Brown at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer in New York City on this day in 2000.
Reportedly meeting Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein at a party in 1997, the pair began a relationship together and three years later were married in New York. Princess Angela was the first woman of African descent to ever marry into a reigning European royal family.
The couple were civilly married at Vaduz on 21 January 2000. This was followed by their religious wedding, which took place on 29 January in New York City at the Church of St. Vicente Ferrer.
Princess Angela wore a gown of her own design with the Kinsky Tiara
On her wedding day she wore an elegantly simple white dress designed by herself that featured a bateau neckline and long sleeves.
