King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, accompanied by Queen Máxima, Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien, gave the annual Prinsjesdag (Prince’s Day or Budget Day) Speech to the Dutch Parliament to outline the government’s agenda for the coming session on September 15th in the Hague, an annual ceremony held on the third Tuesday of every September which has been much altered due to the ongoing pandemic.
Royal Families around Europe have been commemorating the 75th Anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day, marking the end of the Second World War in Europe. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the celebrations are much changed than what was originally planned but still consisted of a variety of commemorations.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands are on a State Visit to the Republic of Indonesia at the invitation of President Joko Widodo from March 10th to the 12th, visiting the cities of Jakarta and Yogyakarta in Java and the islands of Kalimantan and Sumatra, to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties, particularly in economy, nature conservation, culture and science. After a tragic boating accident at the Sebangau National Park on Kalimantan while preparing for the State Visit, the third day of the visit in Kalimantan was cancelled and the visit ended a day earlier.
