The Dutch Royal Court has released new Official Portraits of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands to mark the 10th Anniversary of the King’s Accession. These portraits replace those released five years ago.

The Official Portraits of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were taken by Anton Corbijn in the Gallery Hall of Noordeinde Palace.
King Willem-Alexander wore White Tie with the Military William Order and the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
In addition to her Dutch Order of the Netherlands Lion, Queen Máxima also wore the Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau, which is a Dynastic Order as well as the highest Order of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Queen Máxima repeated her gown from the Belgian State Visit with the House Diamond Tiara and Necklace and the Order of the Netherlands Lion as well as the Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau.

Queen Maxima’s second star is actually that of the Grand Cross of the Order of the House of Orange, which Her Majesty received on her 50th birthday.
