Dutch State Visit to India

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands are paying a State Visit to the Republic of India from October 14 to 18, at the invitation of President Ram Nath Kovind and the request of the Dutch Government. The key themes of the visit are water technology and maritime developments, health, sustainable agriculture, social initiatives and cultural heritage. Royal Visits to Pakistan

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be embarking on their Official Visit to Pakistan tomorrow, described as “the most complex tour undertaken by The Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations”, so we are taking a look at the previous Royal Visits to Pakistan. At the time of her succession in 1952, the Queen was became the Sovereign of the then Dominion of Pakistan, which she remained until 1956, when the country became a Republic, and unlike other Commonwealth Countries, it has only received a handful of Royal visits in the 72 years since Independence. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary in Paris

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark are on a visit to Paris from October 7 to 10, leading a business delegation of around 50 Danish companies and business organizations participating in a business promotion under the heading “Denmark and France – together for a better life and a sustainable future.” Energy, sustainable cities and health are the themes of the business visit, which focuses on elderly care, “smart hospitals” and “life science” as well as wind energy, district heating and urban development, along with Danish lifestyle and culture.
