Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary in Paris

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark are on a visit to Paris from October 7 to 10, leading a business delegation of around 50 Danish companies and business organizations participating in a business promotion under the heading “Denmark and France – together for a better life and a sustainable future.” Energy, sustainable cities and health are the themes of the business visit, which focuses on elderly care, “smart hospitals” and “life science” as well as wind energy, district heating and urban development, along with Danish lifestyle and culture.

🇩🇰🇫🇷 Kronprinsparret er netop ankommet til Paris, hvor Deres Kongelige Højheder de næste dage vil stå i spidsen for en erhvervsdelegation. Den danske delegation består af omkring 50 virksomheder og erhvervsorganisationer, der deltager i et erhvervsfremstød under overskriften ”Danmark og Frankrig – sammen for et bedre liv og en bæredygtig fremtid”. Herudover vil Deres Kongelige Højheder deltage i en række besøg hos franske virksomheder og institutioner. Formålet med besøget i den franske hovedstad er at styrke relationerne mellem Danmark og Frankrig og understøtte danske virksomheders vækst og position på det franske marked. Energi, bæredygtige byer og sundhed er temaerne for erhvervsfremstødet, der vil fokusere på ældrepleje, ”smart hospitals” og ”life science” samt vindenergi, fjernvarme og byudvikling. Herudover vil besøget omhandle dansk livsstil og kultur.  Frankrig er verdens sjette største økonomi og en vigtig handelspartner for Danmark, idet landet i 2018 udgjorde det ottende største eksportmarked for danske varer og services. • 🇫🇷 Du 7 au 9 octobre 2019 Leurs Altesses Royales le Prince Héritier et la Princesse Héritière seront en visite officielle à Paris pour représenter le Danemark. Le Couple Prince Héritier, du 7 au 9 octobre, sera à la tête d’une délégation composée d'une cinquantaine d'entreprises et d'organisations professionnelles danoises participant à une promotion commerciale sous la rubrique "Le Danemark et la France-ensemble pour une vie meilleure et un avenir durable". De plus, Leurs Altesses Royales participeront à un certain nombre de visites officielles dans des entreprises françaises. L'objectif de la visite dans la capitale française est de renforcer les relations entre le Danemark et la France et de renforcer la croissance et la position des entreprises danoises sur le marché Français. L'énergie, les villes durables et la santé sont les thèmes de la délégation d’entreprises qui sera axée sur les soins des personnes âgées, les « hôpitaux intelligents » et les « sciences de la vie », ainsi que l'énergie éolienne, le chauffage urbain et le développement urbain. De plus, la visite portera sur la culture et le mode de vie danois.

On October 7th, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary participated in the official opening of the visit at the La Grande Arche monument, followed by a meeting with the Danish Companies in the delegation. Later, the Crown Prince visited France’s largest electricity producer, EDF Group, the Dalkia’s showroom, and an architectural conference on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the monument La Grande Arche, designed by the Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen, while the Crown Princess visited the Georges-Pompidou Hospital. In the evening, the Crown Prince Couple attended a reception at La Grande Arche, to mark the 30th anniversary of the monument, where the Crown Prince gave a speech, followed by a Dinner with President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron.

On the morning of October 8th, Crown Prince Frederik visited the French Parliament’s National Assembly, the Assemblée Nationale, to attend a meeting of the Assembly’s Committee on Social Affairs, followed by a meeting on energy with French representatives from the European Commission, and a visit to the Île Séguin on the Seine. Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary visited the Korian Monceau nursing home, attended an investment seminar in the Danmarkshuset (Maison du Danemark), the seminar “Purchasing and innovations”, and a Business Lunch at the Flora Danica Restaurant.  In the afternoon, the Crown Prince attended a wind seminar at the Cœur Défense conference center, a meeting on renewable energy solutions in the energy company Total’s headquarters, and the urban development conference “Development of Greater Paris”, while the Crown Princess visited the Les Peupliers private hospital. In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were joined by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, as they attended a Dinner at the Hôtel de Ville, hosted by the Danish Ambassador.
