Trooping the Colour 2022

Members of the British Royal family celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday by attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 2nd, launching the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend Festivities. They rode on horses and in carriages to inspect the guards at Horse Guards Parade and then watched a RAF Flypast from the Balcony of Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Cambridge presided over the Colonel’s Review of the Irish Guards last week.

Garden Party at Buckingham Palace

The Duchess of Cambridge and the Earl and Countess of Wessex hosted the second annual Garden Party of 2022 at Buckingham Palace on May 18th. There are usually four annual Garden Parties hosted by the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood House for around 30,000 guests yearly, as well as a few special others, though the Queen has announced in advance that she will not be attending any of the Garden Parties this year.

Lady Ogilvy, Flora received a Masters Degree in History of Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art, with her area of expertise in contemporary and modern art. She is an Ambassador of the Victoria and Albert Museum and a Contributor to Vogue Magazine.
