Princess Alexandra of Hanover, the only child of the Prince of Hanover and Princess Caroline of Monaco, announced her engagement to Basketball Player Ben-Sylvester Strautmann after a decade-long relationship. Princess Alexandra is the 13th in the line of Succession to the Monegasque Throne.
The engagement ring was designed by Antinori di Sanpietro and chosen by Strautmann himself. The ring features a 4.8-carat Fancy Yellow diamond flanked by two trillion-cut diamonds set in 18-carat yellow and white gold, with an estimated value of $203,000.
While her sister, Charlotte Casiraghi, and sister-in-law, Beatrice Borromeo, did not wear Tiaras, her other sisters-in-law did, especially Hereditary Princess Ekaterina and Princess Alessandra who wore the Hanoverian Floral Tiara, which could be worn by Princess Alexandra, while other possible options are the Brunswick Tiara or the Cartier Pearl Drop Tiara.
Princess Alexandra could also wear Queen Charlotte’s Nuptial Crown, which has not been publicly seen since 1981.
